SKUDONET comes from a real need: offering a simpler and more affordable way to manage load balancing and high availability.
The project started back in 2010, when our CEO, Emilio Campos—after years of working with vendors like Radware, F5, and A10 Networks—decided to create an alternative that could cut through the complexity of traditional solutions. That’s how Zen Load Balancer was born: an open-source initiative that quickly found its place thanks to its practical approach and active community.
Over time, the project kept growing. With a wider user base and new demands from the market, it was time for a bigger step. That’s when we became SKUDONET—a new name and a more global mindset, but with the same goal: making advanced technology easier to use and more accessible to everyone.
Today, SKUDONET is much more than a load balancer. It’s an all-in-one platform that brings together load balancing, high availability, and security—without extra modules, hidden costs, or complex setups.
